This Privacy Policy applies to PromptFence and related product communications.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account information such as name, email address, organization name, team name, role, plan, login identifiers, and support messages.
PromptFence may process product data such as team policy settings, custom sensitive terms, allowed AI tool domains, invite tokens, event metadata, risk scores, finding types, content hashes, timestamps, and redacted samples. PromptFence is designed to reduce retention of raw prompts where possible.
We may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, request logs, security events, and approximate location derived from network data.
2. Payment information
Payments may be processed by Paddle as merchant of record. We do not store full card numbers. Paddle may collect and process payment details, tax information, billing addresses, invoices, receipts, and transaction records under Paddle's own policies.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide PromptFence, operate subscriptions, secure accounts, apply team policy, show event review data, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, and support PromptFence. These providers may include cloud infrastructure, database, email, authentication, payment, and security services. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for safe account credentials and appropriate team access controls.
6. Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide PromptFence, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Limited logs or backups may be retained for security and reliability.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
PromptFence may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for security, routing, authentication, checkout, forms, and product functionality.
8. International processing
We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Your choices and rights
